I love it when vintage images come out of copyright. Not sure if any of these will find their way on to a T-Shirt or not but should definitely take a look. The free images, uploaded courtesy of the Biodiversity Heritage Library, include animal sketches, historical diagrams, botanical studies, and scientific research.
