I can’t stop watching this | 30 SECONDS

This looks like some kind of animation but it’s actually a timelapse of the cell division of a frog taken over 33 hours. This sent me down a bit of a rabbit hole watching cell divisions and metamorphosis videos.  It’s definitely worth a watch. 30 seconds well spent.

I can’t guarantee that you won’t end up going down the same rabbit hole as myself, but if you do I can recommend this link, this one, and especially this other one, as a good place to start.

Strangley compelling | 12 Minutes

This guy’s Youtube channel is amazing! He makes things in the wild completely from scratch using no modern tools or materials. If you want a fire- use fire sticks, an axe- pick up a stone and shape it etc. He doesn’t speak in the videos but there’s no need they speak for themselves. | Tools

Sizzy is a tool for developing responsive websites crazy-fast. It allows you to preview an url on multiple devices at once, filter the devices, zoom them in and out, and more.  It’s a pretty rad tool. There’s now a chome extension and if you have a few spare minutes, you should read the back story. Solving a problem for yourself often creates a product for others.

Beautiful stories for kids of any age | Reading

Luke Pearson’s Hilda books are rad on so many levels.  The illustration and characterisations are fantastic. The print quality and colouring it drool worthy, The story telling  wistful and intriguing and best of all our adventure protagonist is female.  So much to love!
