Due South Fashion Agency, founded by Sarah Epstein and Holly Buxton, is the exclusive Australian importer of a number of high end fashion labels for distribution in boutiques across the Australian market.

The team from Due South were heading to an international trade show in Europe with the task of wooing a number of high-end fashion labels over to the due south stable. The existing branding and stationary no longer aligned with the direction of the business.

Originally, designed during the infancy of the business, the Due South logo was in need of contemporising to re-align the communications and visual language of the business with where they are headed and to better communicate that direction to prospective fashion labels.

The mood boards talked to typography, colour palette, photographic style and over arching concept and were instrumental in arriving at the final direction with out over committing to design ideas too early in the project.

After discussing the mood boards and initial ideas we began to flesh out the logo mark and supporting brand elements.

The clean, well spaced typeface and use of gold foil reflects timeless, simplicity which was then paired with a loose, hand crafted brush, script to balance that elegance with a splash of frivolity, giving the brand a more personal, “human” touch.
